Update: Woman with Alzheimer's Found Safe

The 72-year-old woman was located not far from Mt. Helix Park.

Updated at 10:45 p.m. March 26.

An elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease was found safe Monday night after having been briefly missing, authorities said.

Verna Moran, 72, of Spring Valley, was reported missing by her son about 7 p.m. after not returning home from an afternoon walk near the Mt. Helix Cross. The son reported Moran was taking a walk about 4:30 p.m. and had not come back, said sheriff's Lt. J.T. Faulkner.

Authorities say Moran was found safe this evening in the 4800 block of Mt. Helix Drive, and reunited with her son.

An initial report of Moran being missing in Lemon Grove was incorrect.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
