Weekly Crime Report: Aug. 23

Allegations of parole violation, drunken driving and armed robbery make this week's Sheriff's Blotter.

• A 29-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after being stopped at New Jersey and Pacific avenues at 11:13 a.m. on Aug. 17.

• Deputies took custody of a 23-year-old suspected thief at the Rite Aide on Broadway around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 16. The man was arrested on a felony petty theft with a prior jail term. More than $100 in merchandise was recovered and he was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• Deputies arrested a 50-year-old man on a felony parole violation after responding to a trespassing call in the 8000 block of Broadway shortly before noon on Aug. 16. The suspect was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and driving with a suspended license with a prior DUI in the 7200 block of Broadway at 8:22 p.m. on Aug. 12. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• A 42-year-old woman was arrested after authorities were called to a disturbance in the 1500 block of El Prado Avenue at 7:27 p.m. on Aug. 10. She was booked the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on a misdemeanor warrant.

• A 26-year-old woman reported being the victim of an armed robbery in the 7200 block of Broadway on the afternoon of Aug. 8. A $250 jewelry item was reported stolen. No suspect information was reported.

• A 57-year-old man was arrested deputies serving a warrant in the 7900 block of North Avenue shortly after midnight on July 30. He was not armed and taken into custody without incident.

Stolen vehicle reports:

• 8300 block of Palm Street at 6:35 a.m. Aug. 15. Gold, four-door sedan valued at $5,000.

Stolen vehicles recovered:

• 1500 block of Arthur Neal Court shortly after 6 p.m. on Aug. 16. Light blue SUV, valued at $1,000.
• 7800 block of Nichals Street shortly after 10 a.m. on Aug. 18. Green SUV, no value listed.

Burglaries reported:
