Weekly Crime Report: Feb. 23-29

Traffic stop leads to arrest for receiving stolen property, and a curfew violation.

Items of interest from the crime log at the Sheriff's Lemon Grove Station:

Thursday, Feb. 23

A special detail arrested four males in the 2100 block of Siegle Court around 8:30 a.m. Two suspects, age 50 and 36, were arrested on felony weapons charges. The other two suspects, age 53 and 40, were arrested on felony parole violations.

Friday, Feb. 24

A 31-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant in the 1700 block of Madera Street.

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 41-year-old male for receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, in the 7400 block of Imperial Avenue at 1:45 a.m. A juvenile was booked for a curfew violation.

A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 2100 block of Alan Court.

A 54-year-old male was cited and released for unlawful camping in the 7200 block of Broadway just after 11 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 25

A subject stop led to the arrest of 44-year-old male for a felony parole violation just after noon in the 7500 block of North Avenue.

A bike valued at $950 was reported stolen in the 7800 block of Broadway.

Four bottles of liquor valued at $100.96 were reported shoplifted from Rite Aid on Broadway.

Sunday, Feb. 26

A report of a disturbance just before 2 a.m. led to the arrest of a 19-year-old male for being drunk in public and a 24-year-old male on a misdemeanor warrant in the 2300 block of Lawton Drive.

Tuesday, Feb. 28

A theft by use of access card information was reported by a business in the 7300 block of Broadway. Three items with a combined value of $213 were reported stolen.

Wednesday, Feb. 29

Medication valued at $89.58 was reported stolen from a building in the 8000 block of Sarawak Drive.

A call reporting a disturbance led to the arrest of a 26-year-old male for vandalism and providing identification to a peace officer, both misdemeanors, in the 3200 block of College Avenue just before 11 p.m. Damage to a structure was estimated at $300.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
