Weekly Crime Report: June 13

Items of note from the desk of the Lemon Grove station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, as of June 13.

A suspected drunken driving hit-and-run, alleged possession of controlled substances, and parole violations make this week's roundup on the Sheriff's Blotter.

Suspicious activity can be reported to the Sheriff's Department at 858-565-5200, and the Lemon Grove station can be contacted at 619-337-2000. In an emergency, always dial 911.

  • Timothy Horrall, 48, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and being drunk in public, both misdemeanors, in the 7900 block of North Avenue on the afternoon of June 11. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. No injuries were reported.
  • Douglas Mason Reese, 64, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant after being stopped in the 8100 block of Lincoln Street on the afternoon of June 10. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. Jail records show he is awaiting a court appearance June 16 on suspicion of possessing a narcotic controlled substance and reckless driving.
  • Deputies arrested a man on felony drug allegations after stopping him in the 1700 block of San Altos Place shortly after midnight on June 9. Robert Allgaier, 28, was subsequently booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of possessing narcotic controlled substances, possessing controlled substances, being under the influence, and possessing drug hypodermics and paraphernalia.
  • Two paroled felons were arrested after a shoplifting incident was reported in the 7200 block of Broadway on the afternoon of June 9. Marcel McDaniels, 43, was arrested on suspicion of possessing dangerous weapons in addition to violating parole. Rontarieo Deshaun Brown, 28, was arrested on a parole violation. Both were booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • David Kelley, 39, was arrested on a felony parole violation after being stopped at Mazer and Lyndine Streets on the morning of June 9. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • A 38-year-old man was cited after reportedly refusing to leave city property in the 3400 block of Main Street on the morning of June 8. Deputies cited Matsu Vaughn on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, trespassing and an infraction, possession of marijuana.
  • Ernie Garcia, 39, was arrested without incident on a felony parole violation after being stopped at Pacific and Vista Avenues on the afternoon of June 8. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • A vandalism incident was reported at the state Department of Health and Welfare Services in the 7000 block of Broadway on the afternoon of June 8. The incident reportedly resulted in about $700 loss or damage to “miscellaneous household goods.” No suspect information was reported.
  • Dale Robison, 51, was arrested on a felony drug allegation in the 3600 block of Olive Street on the morning of June 8. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of possessing controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A 49-year-old man was arrested following a reported hit-and-run in the 7600 block of Broadway shortly before 7 p.m. on June 8. David Gonzales was arrested about half-an-hour following the incident, reported by a 20-year-old woman. He was booked into County Jail on suspicion of drunken driving, hit-and-run, and driving on a suspended license due to a prior DUI. No injuries were reported.
  • A 31-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after being stopped at Broadway and Buena Vista Avenue on the morning of June 7. Matthew Borger was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. The nature of the warrant was not disclosed in the report.
  • Deputies arrested a 19-year-old man on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after stopping him in the 8000 block of Broadway on the evening of June 3. Bryan Alvarez was arrested without incident and booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.
  • A 50-year-old man reported vandalism to two vehicles he owns in the 8000 block Mazer Street during the early morning hours of May 14. Total damage to the two vehicles was set at $500.

  • 2400 block of Washington Street on the evening of June 3. Vehicle described as a white pickup reported stolen from another jurisdiction.
  • 1700 block of San Altos Place on the morning of June 7. Vehicle described as a white pickup.
  • 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue on the afternoon of June 7. The vehicle, described as a white and orange E350 was reported stolen from another jurisdiction, according to a report.

Vehicle thefts reported:

  • 3200 block of Lermas Court on the afternoon of June 11.

Residential burglaries, hot prowls, or grand theft from buildings:

  • 1500 block of Watwood Road on the afternoon of June 7. No items reported stolen following a report of a “hot prowl.”
