Weekly Crime Report: June 21

Items of note from the desk of the Lemon Grove station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, as of June 21.

A suspected motorcycle theft, alleged possession of controlled substances and parole violations make this week’s roundup on the Sheriff's Blotter.

  • Deputies responded to the McDonald’s on Broadway on June 15 to investigate a report of circulation of unauthorized paper money the previous day between 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
  • Deputies were called to a residence on El Prado Avenue on June 16 after 11 p.m. to check out a report of a disturbance/party.
  • An 18-year-old male was arrested for suspicion of DUI during the early morning hours of June 18 on School Lane at Central Avenue. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • A motorcycle valued at $6,500 was reported stolen on June 20 in the 8000 block of Broadway.
  • Margaret Condon, 44, was arrested on the afternoon of June 21 on an existing warrant. The arrest location was on Jamacha Boulevard at Grand Avenue. She was booked into the Las Colinas Detention Facility.
  • An arrest for spousal abuse occurred on June 18 around 9:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Washington Street. A minor injury was reported. The name and gender was not released.
  • A battery on a person was reported on June 19 around 5:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of New Jersey Avenue, resulting in a minor injury. No arrest was reported.
  • A vehicle burglary was reported in the 7100 block of Westview Place just before 10 a.m. on June 19. Electronic devices valued at $370 were reported missing.
  • Gary Cox, 60, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and obstructing charges on June 19 in the 1800 block of Dayton Drive around 12:30 p.m. He was arrested on two felony counts and one misdemeanor. The 46-year-old female victim had apparent minor injuries. The report stated Cox was armed with a club, blackjack and brass knuckles. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • Stephanie Douville, 42, was arrested for alleged use/under the influence of controlled substances on June 20 at 12:20 p.m. on Haven Drive at Mulder Drive. She was booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility.
  • A report of a sex crime against a child under 10 years of age was made on June 20 around 10 p.m. in the 8000 block of Lemon Grove Way. No other information was released.
  • A report of a suspicious person was made on the afternoon of June 27 in the 7300 block of Canton Drive. No arrests were reported.
  • A found property report was filed on June 16 just after noon stating that a rifle was found in the 1800 block of Eldora Street. It was valued at $100.
  • Gerald Haynes, 46, was arrested on June 16 just before 1 p.m. on suspicion of  misdemeanor spousal abuse. He was taken into custody in the 2500 block of Glebe Road and booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • Robert Wigley, 43, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing and drunk in public charges on June 16.
  • A gang/terrorist threat was reported by a 39-year-old female in the 1800 block of Skyline Drive on June 16.
  • Henry Newton, 54, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing during a subject stop on the morning of June 17. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • Robert Thomas, 40, was arrested on suspcion of felony charge of possession of a controlled substance on June 17 on Sweetwater Way at Broadway. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • Deputies responding to a family disturbance on Siegle Court the night of June 17 arrested 40-year-old June Latting on suspicion f felony parole violation and a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • John Emmitt, 42, was arrested on suspicion of felony parole violation just before noon on June 17 in the 3300 block of Buena Vista Avenue. He was also charged with being drunk in public and was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • A purse was reported stolen from a woman in the 2100 block of Main Street the night of June 13. The purse and a wallet inside were valued at $125.
  • Jeffrey Carney, 50, was arrested on suspicion of felony parole violation just after 5 p.m. on June 19 on Olive Street at Broadway. He was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
  • A lewd or lascivious with a child under 14 years of age was reported in the 2600 block of Buena Vista Avenue on June 13. The date of the actual occurrence was reported as June 1, 1991.
  • An assault to commit rape was reported on the morning a June 13 in the 8300 block of Broadway. The reported assault on an 82-year-old female took place the previous day.
  • A vehicle burglary was reported in the 6900 block of San Miguel Lane on the morning of June 13. A purse, credit cards, key and cash were missing.

Vehicle thefts reported: 7100 block of Westview Place on June 14.
