Weekly Crime Report: Sept. 27

Allegations of battery, burglary and being under the influence of drugs or alcohol make this week's roundup of crime in Lemon Grove.

Items of note from the desk of the Lemon Grove station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of Sept 26.

Unless otherwise noted, suspects placed under arrest were booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

  • A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon after deputies were called to the 7600 block of Broadway at 6:46 p.m. on Sept. 24. The man is suspected of carrying a concealed “dirk or dagger,” but the weapon was not found on his person when arrested, according to a report.
  • Deputies arrested a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs after deputies were called to investigate a trespassing report at 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 23. She was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.
  • A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of battery and false imprisonment after deputies were called to the 7800 block of Deborah Place at 9:52 p.m. on Sept. 21.
  • Deputies arrested a 25-year-old woman on an outstanding felony warrant after stopping her in the 7700 block of Palm Street at 7:10 a.m. Sept. 21. She was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.
  • A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies were called to the 2900 block of New Jersey Avenue at 2:24 p.m. Sept 20. She was booked to the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.
  • A 39-year-old woman was arrested on felony burglary allegations after deputies were called to the Thrift Village, 7800 Broadway, shortly after 2 p.m. Sept. 19. She was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee. An estimated $150 in miscellaneous clothing was reportedly recovered.
  • Deputies arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of felony drug possession and driving under the influence in the 7300 block of Broadway at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 17.
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and suspicion of operating a motor vehicle with .01 percent or more blood alcohol content while on probation for drunken driving. The arrest was reported at 11:10 p.m. following a traffic stop on Sept. 16 in the 7900 block of Broadway.
  • A 30-year-old man was arrested in the 7900 block of Broadway at 9:49 p.m. Sept. 16 on suspicion of drunken driving and driving without a valid driver's license.
  • Deputies detained three people in the 7300 block of Broadway at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 on suspicion of violating a municipal ordinance prohibiting the consumption of alcohol after hours. A 23-year-old woman, identified as a bartender, and a 49-year-old man, identified as the owner of Sportsman Pub, according to a report, were cited in connection with the alleged violation. A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness.

  • 2300 block of Camino De Las Palmas at 1:09 p.m. on Sept 25. Red, two-door sedan valued at $1,000.
  • 8300 block of Broadway at 6:58 a.m. Sept. 21. Maroon two-door sedan valued at $500.

 

Vehicle burglaries:

  • 200 block of El Prado Avenue at 4:05 p.m. Sept. 21.
