As we look ahead to November’s general election, Lemon Grove Patch is devoted to bringing you the information you need about every race in town. Here's our start on the candidates and issues we'll be covering as November draws near.

President Barack Obama has visited San Diego County in the run-up to the election. Republican candidate Mitt Romney has ties to La Jolla, and a Patch columnist thinks he can win.

In the 53rd Congressional race, Rep. Susan Davis will face Iraqi War veteran Nick Popaditch

At the state level, Lemon Grove Councilwoman and La Mesa Chamber of Commerce president Mary England competes with SDSU professor Shirley Weber for the 79th Assembly District seat.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
