City Planning Improvements to Skate Park

Lemon Grove residents interested in coming up with ideas, raising funds, or constructing proposed improvements to the skate park can contact Public Works to get involved.

Do you have some ideas for ways to improve Lemon's Grove's Skate Spot?

The city plans to make some upgrades to the spot, which is located across the street from the Lemon Grove Fire Station in Firefighter's Park and is seeking input from the community. The skate area was built in 2008, according to the city.

"After querying numerous patrons at the park, City staff came to the conclusion that there are enough patrons of the park to warrant some form of an improvement," staff wrote in the city's spring 2013 newsletter.  "The next step will be to find funding available to improve the Skate Spot, then to work to create an affordable expansion plan that still meets the needs of everyone visiting the Skate Spot."
