Building Better Health in Lemon Grove

A nationally recognized public health, planning and transportation consultant will explain how to build better health in Lemon Grove this afternoon at the Community Center.

Mark Fenton will discuss the economic, environmental, and public health benefits of active community design at a seminar presented by Supervisor Dianne Jacob, the County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency, and the East County Chamber of Commerce.

All those with a vested interest in Lemon Grove—whether you live or work here—are invited to learn about the economic, environmental, and pubic health benefits of creating a thriving community.

The seminar will take place from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Registration begins at 2 p.m.

An optional walking tour of downtown will explore elements that impact active lifestyles.
