Today, the campaign volunteers gathered to place phone calls to residents in Lemon Grove inviting them to this Saturday's campaign kick-off, which will start at noon at .
After placing the last call, we surprised Councilmember George Gastil with an impromptu birthday cake, singing “Happy Birthday.” He was completely speechless! What a way to cap the evening.
Since the beginning of our campaign we have called more than 2,000 voters and we have many more to go. What is our goal? We aim to reach out to all residents in Lemon Grove. I know this is ambitious, but I know we can do it.
