Rep. Susan Davis Holds a Neighborhood Day in Bonita

More than 50 people attend Davis's town hall meeting

BONITA - Congresswoman Susan Davis (CA-53) convened one of her Neighborhood Days in Bonita on Tuesday evening, April 30, meeting with new constituents.  More than fifty people filled the Bonita-Sunnyside Branch Library for a town hall-style discussion with their local U.S Representative.

We had a very thoughtful dialogue on a wide range of issues,” said Davis.  “It's really helpful to hear from so many engaged people.  I was honored to sit down and talk with my new constituents in South County.  I hope people will continue to stay in touch with me.”

Davis provided an update on what is happening in Congress then took questions and listened to concerns of constituents.  The issues ranged from Social Security, veterans health care, education, military sexual assault, to the across-the-board spending cuts, known as sequestration, and much more.
