"History Alive" Lecture: Drop, Cover and Hold On

Well-known earthquake expert and media commentator, Dr. Pat Abbott, will discuss the "big one" at a Lemon Grove Historical Society sponsored event at the H. Lee House Cultural Center.

The author, essayist and SDSU emeritus professor of Geology has extensively studied ancient soils and climates in relation to the impact of humankind on earth and its many ecologies. He'll cover questions like "when?" "where?" and "how big?" pertaining to the expected Earthquake for California.

The lecture is suitable for ages 13 and over and questions and answers and refreshments follow the presentation.
