What is "We Get Around!"
An organization that offers FREE weekly classes designed for adults 60+ or disabled who are interested in travel, brain fitness, and a healthy lifestyle. After an initial orientation at a local library, subsequent classes leave from nearby MTS bus or trolley stops. The classes meet weekly and are limited to 10 students per session.

Tell me about the classes.
A Travel Trainer leads each of the preplanned trips and focuses on a different aspect of public transportation. The classes cover: how to buy fare cards, read schedules, plan trips and personal safety tips.  The class philosophy is "Practice, Practice, Practice" and each week you have the opportunity to practice the skills you have learned while traveling through San Diego. Students pay only the cost of transportation.  An MTS daily fare card is $5 or $38 will cover a 2 month MTS Senior fare card.

Nice if you can actually pass such a bill but we are dealing with politicians who cherish the powerRead More they have attained rising to the top. In actuality this has "A Snowballs Chance In Hell" of passing, but kudos for the effort.
