Farm Stand Rained Out Today
The weekly farmers market will not open today due to the wet weather.
Stormy weather will keep the Golden Delicious Farm Stand from opening Friday, according to Scott Caneday.
The weekly farmers market sells locally grown organic fruits and vegetables nearly at cost to raise money for the Golden Avenue School PTA. It is usually open each Friday that school is in session.
Caneday, a Golden Avenue School parent, farm stand volunteer and owner of which supplies some of the delicious produce offered to the community each week, said the stand will also be closed next week for the Veteran's Day holiday.
