PHOTOS: Golden Avenue Fall Festival

The annual celebration drew a crowd of costumed characters and creatures.

Golden Avenue Elementary School hosted its annual fall festival for children and their families Saturday. Festivities included a prize walk, games, science booths directed by SDSU students, food, a dunk tank where students sent some teachers and Principal Rick Oser into the water, a petting zoo, and a performance of Thriller.

There were also lots of terrific costumes! Don't forget about Patch's costume contest—the . Upload of photo of your costumed child—age 12 and younger—for a chance to win a trip to meet Klum and a donation of $1,031 to the charity of your choice. A grand prize winner and nine runners up will be chosen. The deadline to enter is 9 p.m. on Halloween night, Oct. 31.
