Heat and technical glitches proved undaunting to the third graders who put on a rousing performance of “Thriller” at the Fall Festival and Learning Fair held Saturday at the Lemon Grove Academy for the Sciences and Humanities' elementary school.

The annual event, put on by parent volunteers and staff, offers kids of all ages a chance to dress up in Halloween costumes, play carnival games, win prizes, and take a shot at the teacher dunk tank.

The Learning Fair features science activities created by SDSU College of Education students who are learning to be teachers.
