Lemon Grove Little Leaguers Represent in Local Playoffs
In addition, a tryout for fall camps takes place Sunday.
Several age groups recently competed in the Little League All Stars playoff early rounds. But fall baseball is coming up as well.
To qualify, kids have to be between 6-8 on April 30, 2014. They should be at Caps Field from 9-11 a.m. Sunday to try and make the team.
Here are partial results from the current Little League playoffs:
9-10 year olds: Play Saturday. They last beat Valley de Oro Little League 15-1.
10-11 year olds: 2-1 in pool play and moved to district finals.
Little League division: 2-1 in pool play and moved to district finals.
Junior division: went 0-2 in early pool play.
Girls' softball also takes place Saturday.
