Dear Players, today I was privileged to sit with some of your ancestral family members whose stories the Lemon Grove Hstorical Society loves and cherishes. Esteban Lieres' grandfather, Luis Lieres, will be 82 on Aug. 18. This grand old man of the clan is vibrant, with vivid recall of the early days of the town, and insightful stories to tell. Be well, Players! Whatever happens on Saturday, know how much you are cherished, how much the road you have traveled is paved with the achievements and loving wishes of your ancestors.
