Texas Tech Offense Flies High Above Arizona State in Holiday Bowl [Photos]

Davis Webb threw touchdown passes on each of Texas Tech's first four possessions tonight in a 37-23 upset of Arizona State in the 34th Holiday Bowl.

Webb, selected as the game's offensive MVP, completed 28 of 41 passes for 403 yards and tied the bowl's record for touchdown passes as the Red Raiders (8-5) ended a five-game losing streak.

Sun Devils redshirt junior quarterback Taylor Kelly ran for a career- record 135 yards, including a 44-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that cut Texas Tech's lead to 27-20 one minute, 47 seconds into the third quarter.

Reginald Davis returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. Ryan Bustin kicked a field goal later in the quarter for the Red Raiders.

D.J. Foster ran for a career-high 132 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown 7:52 before halftime, for Arizona State. This was the first time the Sun Devils had two rushers surpass 100 yards in the same game since 1999.

Zane Gonzalez kicked three field goals for Arizona State (10-4) which lost its second consecutive game following a seven-game winning streak

Taylor completed 16 of 29 passes for 125 yards and had one pass intercepted.

The Sun Devils are 0-4 in the Holiday Bowl, Texas Tech 2-0.
