An Open Letter to the NSA

Dear NSA Spy or Spies,

How are you?

I am fine. But you knew that already, didn't you?

I write to you with a request.

As the world and Obama's Administration pretty much know by now, you with the National Security Agency are gathering information on everyone, be it in their e-mails, voice-mails, texts, Google searches, and perhaps those cameras at the busy street corners, malls, gas stations, Targets, and 711s.

I want to thank you for the work you do, for I see that your immense storing capabilities of data can be of help for some of us out here simply wanting to make a living, have a good life, make a positive difference, and - at times - reclaim some lost e-mails.

You see, I happen to have a Yahoo e-mail account. Oh sheesh, like I have to tell you that! But what you may not know is Yahoo's new interface is so incredibly confusing and convoluted that it has many of us losing entire e-mail threads.

This is quite frustrating.

Now I realize our entire country was founded on transparency, freedom, civil liberties, rights of privacy, and not having thug-heads like you around spying on innocent people, forcing us to live on the terms of a controlling force such as yourself ... but still ... you COULD COME IN HANDY!

So, my request: I created an e-mail, oh I don't know, about three days ago. You can do a word search. Subject line was "Stop Reading Other People's E-mails You A-holes." Somehow it was deleted since it was part of a thread that got bunched together with some other communication (Yes, Yahoo strikes again). If you could find that e-mail and then send it to me at whatever account is most accessible for you, I would appreciate it.

Oh and while you are at it, give a good word to my dad. His e-mail is under my "Favorites" and he's one of my Facebook friends.

Appreciate it.

Yours Unfortunately,

Jim E
