The brand new Lemon Grove Library is easy to spot with it's yellow dome, which houses the famed original school bell. In addition to access to over 33 million library items, computers and laptops, the library holds many monthly programs. While special events happen all the time (and can be found by looking at our monthly calendar on www.sdcl.org or at the library, our regular programming is as follows: Baby Storytime, Wednesdays 11:30am, Toddler Storytime-Wednesdays @ 10am, Preschool Storytime-Thursdays @ 10am, Family Storytime-Fridays @ 10am, Bilingual Storytime in Spanish-Tuesdays@ 6:30pm, Homework Help (Grades 1-5)-Tuesdays @ 2:30pm, Teen Lounge-Afterschool Monday-Friday, Yoga for Adults-Saturdays @ 11:30am, Friends of the Library Music Series-3rd Tuesdays @ 6:30pm, Book Club, 2nd Tuesdays @ 11:00am, SMART Recovery Meetings-Wednesdays @1:00pm, Free Citizenship Classes-Thursdays @ 5:30pm, Genealogy Class-1st & 3rd Wednesdays @6:00pm.
The library's bookstore is open Monday-Thursday from 1-5 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
