I am a reformed youthful bleeding heart liberal. Enough years and experience passed causing me to finally grow up and see the reality of a left-wing ideology that fails repeatedly because they are run almost exclusively by emotions, not reason.  Historical facts and figures proving their failed policies are totally ignored by this liberal mindset. A perfect example is Chicago, Illinois, where Democrat policies have run that city into the ground---worst schools, one of the highest percentage of residents on welfare, highest unemployment rate, highest crime rate, highest number of blighted areas, etc., etc., etc. 
I am now a proud conservative activist grandma determined to save my beloved State and America for my four beautiful granddaughters and one handsome grandson!
